Expected to drop later this year, the action takes place 50 years after 2017's Blade Runner 2049, a movie that also analyses the relationship between humans and AI.

For their investigations, the researchers combined physiological studies - such as imaging techniques to visualise processes in the fly brain, chemical analyses of environmental odours, and behavioural studies.

Roblox also says it analyses all communications that pass between members on the platform, increasingly using more advanced AI systems and other tech to do so - and anything flagged is sent for further investigation.

The agency said it was “working on reducing that risk” by developing interim procedures and carrying out “additional analyses.”
