Antwerp federal police carried out five searches in Merksem, Borgerhout, Deurne, Sint-Jans-Molenbeek and Eupen on Monday night at the request of an investigating judge.

Authorities said the raids took place in Belgium’s second largest city of Antwerp, in the Borgerhout district of Antwerp and in the municipality of Ternat to the west of Brussels.

Searches were carried out in the port city of Antwerp and at least two other locations, Ternat and Borgerhout.

She was living at this time at Borgerhout near Antwerp, and thought that if some fool was to fly before King Philip, it could only be her friend Ulenspiegel.

A new enceinte 8 m. in length was constructed, and the villages of Berchem and Borgerhout, now parishes of Antwerp, were absorbed within the city.
