Many popular trails and campgrounds in the Angeles National Forest could remain closed at least through the end of the year, per orders by the Forest Service.

Several trails and campgrounds in the Angeles National Forest that have been closed since January’s firestorm have reopened for visitors, U.S.

Reservations for dates between June 15 and July 14 in the Upper Pines, Wawona and Hodgdon Meadow campgrounds, among others, were made available at 7 a.m.

Yosemite National Park suspended the sale of summer online reservations for its most popular campgrounds.

It was led by members of the Methodist Episcopal Church who built an enormous campground in Temescal Canyon for annual gatherings.
