Prince Paul, the one who’s charged with money laundering, and is grandson of Carol II, Michael’s father, won’t get an invite to the funeral though.

At age 5, in 1927, he became Europe’s youngest king after the ouster of his father, Carol II, who had been given an ultimatum to pick his mistress or the throne.

His father, Carol II, married three times and was forced to give up the succession to the throne over an affair while he was still married to Michael’s mother, leaving Michael to be king when he was only 5.

Paul, 67, is the grandson of King Carol II. Romania's monarchy ended when the communists came to power.
