Most patients they see are in their 50s, 60s and 70s, but sometimes they will get people in their 30s brought in by paramedics, says senior charge nurse Rui Tinoco.

"It makes us upset. I didn't come into nursing to give a standard of care like this," admits Tristan Taylor, the department's senior charge nurse.

He added that his time on the show, as the senior charge nurse, had been "wonderful".
