Great Britain's Olympic and world silver medallist Keely Hodgkinson has set a new 400m personal best at a meet in Citta di Savona.

In an interview at his home in Città di Castello, Italy, Sciarrino, 76, said he considered the Monster to be the most human character in “Venere e Adone.”

The site was selected by the Citta Foundation as a way to help improve the literacy rates for girls in the region that are so low as a result of economic disparities, gender and caste discrimination, and technological barriers.

Citta conducted community outreach to appeal to families in neighboring communities to enroll their girls, and invited them to visit the school.
