The San José City Council unanimously voted to settle after Santa Clara County resident Anthony Paredes sued the city and others over a police dog attack.

Nevins is survived by her husband and their three children — Clara, 25, Charlie, 22, and Jesse, 19 — along with her mother and two siblings.

Verduzco is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown L.A.

The Stanford University Department of Public Safety, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office and the Palo Alto Police Department responded, breaking through the barricades and entering at about 7 a.m.

It posted a video on Instagram showing a Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputy in a helmet and tactical gear shoving back a student with a baton.
