As Fred ingratiates himself with higher-caliber clients — Bruce Dern chief among them — he swims with the current of the decade’s most convention-breaking films.

The previous movie also featured the series’ original stars, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill.

Anna went to Dern in Libya in September 2023 to lead the UK Emergency Medical Team, in the wake of floods in which an estimated 20,000 people lost their lives, a situation she describes as "extreme devastation".
