Far-right influencers and talking heads quickly learned to prey on pliant minds, disseminating untruths via short-form video content that users would see as factual.

On Thursday, the Washington Post published an article about the White House’s “rapid-response influencer operation, disseminating messages directly to Americans through the memes, TikToks and podcasts where millions now get their news.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has spent years disseminating false information about vaccines in a time when spreading conspiracy theories has become a powerful way to grow a constituency.

He said anyone disseminating "unverified or malicious information", would be arrested and prosecuted.

“We express our immediate regret for disseminating false information; however, we hold complete joy in knowing that Medrick remains in stable condition,” the statement said.
