Drivers heading into Hull in the early hours of 1 November spotted a young girl stood in the slow lane of the A63 dual carriageway.

Now there is talk of a dual carriageway, better rail services, new homes, new reservoirs; a splurge of busyness to transform the region into "Britain's Silicon Valley".

The baby boy suffered serious injuries when the vehicle left the dual carriageway and struck a tree near Grantham, Lincolnshire, at 22:50 GMT on Thursday.

The search is being carried out in a field between the railway line and the dual carriageway but it is also extending into the surrounding woodland.

Much of the 2.2-mile route is along a busy dual carriageway.
