The one friend who did testify, Paul Feldsher, did not help the defense, two jurors said.

Even the defense witnesses meant to impugn Sciorra’s credibility seemed to bolster her case: A producer, Paul Feldsher, testified that Sciorra, with whom he claimed to have been close friends, had told him she “did a crazy thing with Harvey,” which he’d interpreted as consensual “fooling around.”

Defense witness Paul Feldsher testified that he was also a friend of Sciorra’s at the time and that she described doing a “crazy” thing with the celebrity producer, which Feldsher took to mean a consensual hookup.

Mr. Feldsher said Ms. Sciorra had characterized her encounter with Mr. Weinstein as a “crazy thing,” not an assault.
