Gemma said at one point she was almost housebound and could only get around through the help of a pushchair or shopping trolley.

Mr Taylor said losing his mobility had turned his life "upside down" as he is unable to work and is "nigh-on housebound."

There have been times he's been too anxious to do that and we were housebound but at the moment he's doing OK.

"I was very ill for a long time and I was housebound," she said.

But endometriosis and adenomyosis have left her housebound, in debilitating pain, and unable to see a future as a mum.
