Should leaders Celtic win at bottom club St Johnstone on Sunday, they can wrap up a 13th Premiership title in 14 seasons when they host Kilmarnock next Saturday.

"I'll go on percentage - 75%," said the former West Brom and Kilmarnock manager.

He might have won his first match after replacing Philippe Clement - his side coming from two down at Kilmarnock just eight days ago - but that was followed by an abject home defeat on Saturday at the hands of struggling Motherwell.

"It was horrendous," Ferguson said of the way his players started against Kilmarnock, his new side going two goals down inside 14 minutes at Rugby Park.

When asked about that woeful first 30 minutes, when Kilmarnock were cruising thanks to Joe Wright's header and Brad Lyons' lasered strike, Ferguson conceded he "maybe gave the players too much information".
