I was in a Manhattan museum on a recent October weekend when I noticed the Post-It tacked inside the stall in the ladies' room.

One upside to the Vance event: There was no line to use the ladies' room.

But the real proof is in what was said as I washed my hands of the experience in that ladies' room.

In silence, she passed me a note that read: "Second floor ladies' room is backed up. All three toilets. ☹"

I love getting to work relaxed, with time to spare to grab some water, hit the ladies' room, even chat with a coworker.
