Guirassy, then a France Under-19s international, made his first-team breakthrough at Laval and scored six goals in 29 games in the 2014-15 Ligue 2 campaign.

The international research team was led by the University of Exeter and included Laval and Concordia universities.

"It will become a restricted area completely for Indians," says Laval Soopramanien, president of the Association of Friends of Agalega.

Laval Soopramanien says the boy is still in hospital there, and that the family will remain on the main island until the next boat leaves for Agalega.
