The wantonly libeled men had now an opportunity of revenging themselves upon the libeler, for he could not obtain his certificate without their signature, and without that he could not again commence business.

In this spiritual retreat let the noble libeler remain.

The very accusation proves that the charge is false; for if it were true, this libeler must have suddenly suffered for this assertion.
