The cheeky son of a mailman became the first American to win the U.S.

Not too long ago, I did a post about a mailman that was a video I grabbed online — it was an exposé on PBS about the life and times after the 1992 riots.

When he wasn’t officiating games, Jury was first a mailman and later an officer for the California Highway Patrol.

Every day she would greet the mailman with a “Hi! How’s it going!” so loud that I could hear it across the street in my home office.

He added that a mailman told him that no deliveries were made on the days the pantry was open “because of the line of people waiting for food.”
