Patriots’ Day commemorates the Battle of Lexington and Concord, which began the American Revolution.

It is observed as a legal holiday in a few places, including the states of Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, and Wisconsin. (In Maine, it is officially known as �ʲ��ٰ����dz�’s Day.)
