Springsteen returned to the road this January, months after postponing a handful of U.S. shows last year to deal with a peptic ulcer.

Yet last year, this rock ’n’ roll faith leader stepped away from his pulpit when a bout with peptic ulcer disease forced him off the road amid fears that he’d lost his ability to sing.

Springsteen announced in September he was pausing his tour, citing doctor’s advice as he recovered from peptic ulcer disease.
