The winsome Ramona is a shunting engine, relegated to tootling up and down a small railroad station in the Rioni region.

The shunting engine was stationed at a hydraulic locomotive shed in Dematagoda, north-east of central Colombo.

He was just a cog in its sprawling machine, driving a dumpy, asthmatic shunting engine back & forth, day after day.

He sings, waves his hands, and collapses behind a shunting engine, while four of the loveliest peaks that the Almighty ever moulded look down upon him.
