Northern Irish champions Cliftonville face Benfica, who reached the main group stage last season, in their section semi-final, with the winners taking on either Riga of Latvia or Shymkent of Kazakhstan.

Kazakh news site Orda.kz reported that outages also occurred in the southern region of Turkistan, particularly in the city of Shymkent, and in Taraz, a city in the neighboring Jambyl region.

According to the TV channel, airlines will resume domestic flights to the cities of Shymkent, Turkestan and Atyrau, as well as flights to Moscow and Dubai, starting from 3 p.m.

The increase in cases reportedly has been localized in the regions of Atyrau, Aktobe and Shymkent, which collectively have almost 500 new cases and more than 30 critically ill patients.

It said the outbreak had taken hold in three provincial cities - Atyrau, Aktobe and Shymkent - and that Chinese nationals were among those who had died.
