On Feb. 17, the Adler Planetarium in Chicago unveiled a new sky show called “Niyah and the Multiverse,” a blend of theoretical cosmology, Black culture and imagination.

Also be sure to look for the comet during the April 8 total solar eclipse, when it will appear close to the eclipsed sun, potentially visible with binoculars or even with the naked eye if it flares up—a rare celestial duo that promises to be an unforgettable sky show!

Because of this location, the sky show slightly favors observers in the Southern Hemisphere.

A solar storm forecast for Thursday is expected to give skygazers in 17 American states a chance to glimpse the Northern Lights, the colorful sky show that happens when solar wind hits the atmosphere.

The sky show is also considered to be one of the most reliable, making its appearance each April.
