We have problems, naturally, not the least of which is the massive wealth inequality that distorts our economy, our culture and our politics so much that we are now perilously close to full-on oligarchy.

"I'm not just a fan of his, I am his ex-team-mate and friend. It's frustrating to see him being treated this way, because I know he has got so much more to offer the team. He just doesn't get the opportunities, and that is the manager's decision."

He explains, “When my cancer went into remission, and I felt like I had dodged a bullet, I wanted to tell the story of Blink-182 and not necessarily just my story, but the story of the band from somebody in the band. I love Tom and Travis so much, and everyone just wanted to tell our story as it is, up to now: all the highs, all the lows, the brotherhood, the friendships, everything.”

Indeed, that fortuitous moment back in 2021, when the seed of “Fahrenheit-182” was sown, was the beginning of so much, and the momentum hasn’t ceased.

The scene captures so much of what I found thrilling about the show, especially the way it shuttles between humor and sadness.
