The company added a special dividend, on top of its usual payout, as its net cash exceeded €10 billion.

Costco Wholesale announced a special dividend of $15 a share, while also posting profit that outpaced market estimates, as the warehouse-club chain continued a string of solid results.

Data compiled by Bloomberg show it’s the Issaquah-based retailer’s first special dividend since late 2020, when the big-box retailer paid out $10 a share.

The Brookfield consortium's early November offer of A$6.59 and $1.86 in cash and a A$0.39 special dividend equated to A$9.53 per share, but foreign exchange volatility has pushed that down to the current level.
