According to Nguyen-Chung, fly-fishing takes longer to learn because there is more to it than spin fishing, so this summer could be prime time to pick up a new skill.

It’s considered a more difficult, even challenging way to catch fish, and requires different equipment and casting techniques than regular spin fishing.

President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin went for a walk on the river bank in the Astrakhan region in southern Russia, did some spin fishing and then set off for a boat trip to take underwater pictures.

Both fly and spin fishing are available.

You can also try your hand at surf casting, spin fishing, spear fishing and fresh water fishing.
