There is no global internet regulator that forces every company to ensure their laptops, cellphones, and routers all interoperate; likewise, there is no single, supernational regulatory body that defines what form that interoperability takes.

Even supporters of same-sex marriage such as former Costa Rican Vice President Kevin Casas-Zamora warned that supernational bodies hurt themselves by failing to show a level of “self-restraint” on hot-button political and social issues.

But these bonds should be governed on a supernational level to prevent abuse and new spendthrift debt piling.

It is international, and independent in a supernational unity.

It is admitted that the Catholic Church exists in many nations; that it is dominated, at least in a great degree, by the Bishop of Rome—that it is international in that sense, and that in that sense it has what may be called a "supernational unity."
