The “Swiss cheese” plant may have split leaves, but they can grow large enough to hide a dead body.

Commonly known as the “Swiss cheese plant” because of the unique cutouts in its broad leaves, the Monstera deliciosa can grow up trees in the wild.

For instance, Monstera adansonii, also known as the Swiss cheese plant — a vining philodendron with holey leaves — is nice.

The Swiss cheese plant, nicknamed so for the holes that appear throughout its leaves, loves low light and comes in plenty of sizes.

Unlike the previous entries on this list, the Swiss cheese plant requires more a regulated watering schedule — a small price to pay for having a low-maintenance plant that doesn't need a lot of light.
