The latest setting for Brooks’s ever-evolving dance project is a majestic one: the Tall Ship Wavertree, the last iron-hulled, three-masted cargo ship in the world.

In the background you can see the Olympic flame arriving on a three-mast tall ship into the French port of Marseille, having sailed from Greece, and the high-rolling waves representing surfing events in Tahiti.

The group will travel on the Oosterschelde, a restored Dutch tall ship, to a number of remote locations like the Galapagos archipelago, where Darwin's observations that related bird species differ from island to island helped inspire his seminal book on evolution, "On the Origin of Species".

Memoir ‘All Hands on Deck’ recalls the voyage of a tall ship from Rhode Island to San Diego, where it became the HMS Surprise in the movie ‘Master and Commander.’

The princess will receive her first year of training at the Army Military Academy in Zaragoza, then go to a naval school, which includes sailing the Juan Sebastian Elcano training tall ship, and finish her studies at the General Air Academy.
