But Haddon also brought out a number of less familiar artifacts and canvases, among them “The Family of the Gypsy Bullfighter,” a festive 1903 scene by the Basque painter Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabaleta, and the Catalan painter Ramón Casas i Carbó’s 1915-1916 “La Santera,” a near life-size study of a religious mendicant with a haunting gaze.

"It's related to the lack of movement, and also that the investment environment is not the most favorable," said wealth advisor Jonathan Zuloaga of Columbus, a Mexican investment consultancy.

"The fact that there has been so much animosity from the beginning of the current administration towards the private sector is not a good sign," Zuloaga added.

Executed by Urban Vision, this new Art Wall features a woman seated on a sofa, inspired by the painting “Portrait of Señora de Garay” by Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabaleta and by “Rapunzel,” the German fairy tale first published in 1812.

Its majority owner, businessman Guillermo Zuloaga, who lives in exile in the United States, sold the station this month.
