Red deer are celebrated in the arts, perhaps most famously in Sir Edwin Landseer's painting The Monarch of the Glen.

Officers were sent to an address in Landseer Close, in the Gleadless area, at about 23:30 BST on Tuesday, following reports shots had been fired.

Mr Brooks, of Landseer Road, Southwell, denies attempted murder, three counts of arson with intent to endanger lives, and possession of a knife in a public place.

The Met Police said officers, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to an address in Landseer Avenue, Newham, at about 10:00 BST.
